Where this started
I grew up around my dad's hockey shop.
I saw how much of a business rests on the person running it. The work customers see is only part of the job. There are also the details, decisions, and responsibilities that follow an owner home.
I wish he had a business buddy back then.
That is the idea behind this business: practical help from someone who understands the tools and will do the work with you.
The experience I bring
A career of making complicated systems easier to understand and operate.
I spent 18 years in financial technology, including over a decade at oneZero Financial Systems. I built systems, managed teams, and learned how to make complex technology usable.
I started Business Buddy in April 2024 to bring that experience to owner-run businesses here in Rhode Island.

Outside the work
Family, coaching, and the community.
I’m a Rhode Island native, and Smithfield is home. I live here with my wife, children, and cat, and I’m involved in youth sports and community activities around town. On weekends, you’ll often find me at the soccer fields or playing golf locally. Helping local businesses matters to me because this is my community, too.
I am not building a large agency. I work directly with every client because that is what makes the work useful.
