Show Off Your Craft. Sell It Too.

Mobile-First Design

If you make things and sell them at markets, fairs, and craft shows, a website gives you something those events can't: a presence that works when you're not there in person. Show off your products, list where you'll be selling next, and give people a way to order or get in touch between events.

I build websites for crafters and makers that highlight your work beautifully. Product photos, event schedules, social media links, and optional online store functionality. Your site becomes the place people go when they saw your booth at a market and want to find you again.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a website if I already sell on Etsy?

Etsy is a great sales channel, but it's not your brand; it's theirs. A dedicated website makes you look more professional, lets you build a direct relationship with customers, and gives you a home base that isn't subject to Etsy's fees, policies, or search algorithm changes. Many successful makers use both: Etsy for discovery, their own site for repeat customers and brand building.

Can I sell online through the website?

Yes. I can add a simple storefront for direct sales, or link to your Etsy, Square, or other marketplace listings. If you want to accept orders directly and skip the marketplace fees, we can set that up too.

Can I list my upcoming craft shows and markets?

Definitely. I'll include an events section so people who discover you at a market can find where you'll be next. When your schedule changes, just let me know and I'll update it. People who see your booth will often look you up afterward, and your site gives them a place to find you again.

What does a crafter or maker website cost in Rhode Island?

Sites from Business Buddy start at $1,000 for design, build, and launch. After that, there's a monthly hosting and security fee starting at $39/month, which covers keeping your site live and secure. You can cancel at any time if you'd prefer to take over your own hosting. I'll help you through the transition.

How do I get the site updated between markets?

Just reach out and I'll take care of it. The standard site doesn't include a self-service content management system, so updates (new products, event dates, photo swaps) go through me. It's usually a quick turnaround. If you want to manage updates yourself, a more advanced build with a CMS is an option we can discuss.

What if I make several different kinds of products?

No problem. I can organize your site by product category so customers can browse what interests them without getting overwhelmed. Whether you make candles, jewelry, ceramics, or a mix of things, we'll find a layout that presents your work clearly.
